(WRCB) - Good Tuesday. Cool weather will be settling in for a couple of days. Today, we will have sunny skies with highs in the mid 60s. Winds will be from the northeast at 10-15 mph. That will continue to bring in cool air through tonight. The low in Chattanooga will drop to about 40. In the mountains, it will be a bit cooler. A FROST ADVISORY has already been issued for parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains in expectation of temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
Thursday will be cool also. Sunshine will prevail again as the high reaches about 67.
Thursday night into Friday morning we are going to have a weak front washing out over the Tennessee Valley. It will bring clouds and a very slight chance for a few sprinkles starting your Friday. By Friday afternoon, however, we will begin to clear out, and very comfortable weather will move in for the weekend.
Both Saturday and Sunday will sport sunshine with lows in the mid 40s and highs in the mid 70s.
